This repository contains notebooks and resources for developing and testing OpenAI prompts to support public engagement analysis for Plan Bay Area. Contains the prompts used during PBA Component Trials as well as documentation on how to construct prompts for different use cases.
- Writing Prompts.ipynb: Introduction to writing OpenAI prompts to support public engagement analysis. Goes over prompt construction and different sections of prompt including: context, examples, system message.
- Prompt Trials.ipynb: Testing prompt setup for Plan Bay Area topic categorization. Notebook contains the multiple test prompts used to reduce "Miscellaneous" classified comments. Contains vizualizations on how the prompts affected the PBA Component Breakdown.
- test_prompts - Folder that contains prompts used in the trials to minimize the percentage of comments classified as "Miscellaneous"
- Contains an in-depth breakdown of the differences between the prompts as well as how the PBA Component percentages changed from the different prompts in the README
