Hello community,
We have a question regarding the apim-cli command option '-validateRemoteHost '. See attached the help page for apim-cli command 'apim api import' (screenshot), inside the red highlight.
What does this option do? We have been trying the option in combination with an invalid hostname (FQDN) in the backendBasepath-property of an imported api, but we did not notice any effect. Irrespective the presence of the cmd-option (either '-validateRemoteHost false' or not present), every time the invalid - not DNS resolving - backend-hostname is imported into the API Manager's configuration.
How is the correct use of this option?
Thanks for your help!
