Describe the bug

When I add a Google Sheet block to a workflow, I can no longer link my workflow to Google Sheet using the “Connect Sheet” button because it no longer opens the Google Drive window where my Google Sheets are listed. I can't use the manual connection with the ID to link the workflow to a spreadsheet either, as it shows the following error: "Requested entity was not found."

I duplicated an existing document that had been linked via the “Connect sheet” button several months ago, as a test, and the historical document still works but the new one does not.
However:

  • The Google Sheet exists
  • It is open to modification
  • I've added the automa account as editor
  • My document is on the same drive account and in the same folder

Note that for my historical worfklow, on which I was able to make the connection several months ago, the connection still exists and Automa can edit Google Sheet. The ID link also works. The error only concerns new sheets.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Add a "Google Sheets (GDrive)" block
  2. Click on "Connected"
  3. Click on the button to link a Google Sheet
  4. See error No window to select a Google Sheet open

Expected behaviour
Open the Google Sheet list window to select a document or connect a new google sheet document manually to Automa workflow.

Screenshots
Nothing happen when I click on the button, even if my workflow is linked to Google I can trigger API.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows
  • Browser: Google Chrome
  • Extension Version: 1.29.9

Additional context
I also notice that I no longer have the list of documents I had previously linked to Automa in the “Connected sheets” drop-down menu.

Image

I had a friend install the extension on 06 May 2025, and he was able to connect his account to Google sheet, but it was impossible for him to link his workflow to Google Sheet.

Does this feature no longer exist? How can I solve the problem, as I can no longer link new documents?
