How to change the shell prompt (fish)?

The default shell prompt I have for a distrobox running Fedora 43 adds a new line by default when I use the integrated terminal in VS code, and it's a little bit annoying. Can I customize this prompt?

No, for fish I'd tell you to do something different. I know it doesn't have a PS1 field but you can check the manual. https://fishshell.com/docs/current/tutorial.html
