Do anyone manage to use kitty image protocol inside distrobox ?

In my host, kitty image works as expected but when i enter in distrobox, even installing kitty on it, the image protocol dont work, looks like distrobox dont send the terminal dimension for kitty.
I was able to use it if i enter on distrobox and run kitty there , that gonna open another terminal and then it works.
Just asking to se if you guys have a better approach , i relay heavy in kitty image protocol for show images in my neovim from my notes.
