TS 26.517: Missing MIME media type for JSON-based manifest

Context

3GPP TS 26.517 specifies the protocols for MBS User Services. To support the COLLECTION and CAROUSEL Object Distribution Operating Modes, a JSON-based manifest document format is specified in annex D.

Problem

A MIME media type for the JSON-based manifest document format is not specified in TS 26.517. This makes it impossible for an MBSTF implementation to verify that a manifest object it is ingesting is of the correct format (at a basic level).

Suggested solution

Specify a suitable MIME media type, e.g. application/mbs-object-manifest+json as a new registration in annex E.2, and cross-reference this from clause D.1 (using a similar formulation to that used in clause A.2.1).
